Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Engineering and Projects Director, the Digitalization Manager will spearhead the development of a modern industrial landscape aligned with Industry 4.0 principles, aiming to fulfill the strategic objectives of shareholders and the board by driving digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute comprehensive digitalization and Industry 4.0 strategies consistent with business goals.
- Lead integration of advanced technologies including cyber-physical systems, IoT, AI, big data analytics, and cloud computing into manufacturing and operational workflows.
- Advocate for automation and process optimization across manufacturing and supply chains to enhance efficiency, output, and product quality.
- Implement rigorous data collection, classification, and analytics systems to enable real-time decision-making and monitor performance effectively.
- Champion organizational change, fostering innovation and continuous learning while promoting effective collaboration between IT and operations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate demonstrates commitment, proactive problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, detail orientation, and readiness to embrace the dynamic challenges associated with this role.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- At least seven years of experience in engineering and project management, with proven expertise in digital transformation or industrial sectors such as manufacturing or supply chain.
- Demonstrated background in factory automation, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Familiarity with industrial IT solutions including industrial software and IoT platforms.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise software such as SAP S4 HANA ERP, Salesforce CRM, and Flexi Capture SDK.
- Preferably, experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industries.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, negotiation capability, and problem-solving aptitude for effective conflict management and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, teamwork, decision-making, organizational, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
