Job description

Position Overview

At Lidl Ireland, from our Head Office through to the shop floor, we aim to provide an outstanding shopping experience for every customer. We are looking for a Deputy Store Manager who can lead by example and help us drive this mission further.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager with all aspects of daily store operations.
  • Work proactively towards achieving key performance indicators and targets.
  • Lead, encourage, and develop the store team to perform their best.
  • Ensure the shop floor is consistently well presented and organized.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels at all times to meet customer demand.
  • Provide exceptional customer service consistently.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a completed leaving certificate or an equivalent qualification.
  • Hold a minimum of two years’ management experience within a fast-paced work environment.
  • Have a valid full driving license.
  • Show enthusiasm for working in a dynamic and target-driven environment, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be flexible with varying shift patterns as required.
  • Assistant Store Manager experience is advantageous but not mandatory if the candidate has the right attitude.

Compensation and Benefits
