About the Role
We are seeking a proficient Demand Planner to take ownership of forecasting and demand planning across a variety of categories and brands for a reputable client specializing in end-to-end logistics, supply chain solutions, and sales & marketing based in County Meath, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Brand Partners, Category teams, and Customer teams to accurately forecast volume at the SKU and customer level, considering base sales, promotional volumes, new product developments, delistings, and inventory levels
- Monthly tracking, measurement, and reporting of inbound/outbound forecast accuracy, analyzing key factors that affect accuracy and sharing findings with stakeholders
- Contribute to the annual planning processes for Brand Partners and internal business goals
- Maintain stock levels aligned with KPI targets, generate weekly stock holding reports, and implement strategies to reduce aged stock and minimize write-offs
- Prepare and circulate weekly KPI reports to Brand Partners and Senior Management
- Manage inbound stock shipments originating outside the European Union in coordination with customs agents
- Lead continuous improvements in demand planning processes and develop enhanced reporting tools
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of demand planning experience within FMCG, either at manufacturing or distribution level
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and influence various stakeholders effectively
- Skilled in optimizing stock levels to reduce inventory while preventing out-of-stock situations
- Strong planning capabilities grounded in a customer-focused approach
- Comprehensive understanding of P&L implications, demand planning metrics, and customs regulations
- Knowledge of the Irish grocery and convenience retail market
