Position Overview

This role is for a Data Scientist specializing in Product and Analytics based in Ireland. You will convert complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that influence product choices and enhance user experiences on a large scale. Working at the junction of data science, analytics engineering, and product strategy, you will develop dependable data products, design and assess experiments, and support teams in making informed decisions. Key Responsibilities

Create, sustain, and enhance production data products and analytical frameworks that underpin critical business and product decisions.
Collaborate with Product and Growth teams to design experiments, establish success indicators, evaluate results, and offer actionable guidance.
Build robust analytical foundations by refining data models, upgrading pipelines, monitoring data quality, and scaling analytical solutions.
Work closely with stakeholders to comprehend intricate business problems, mine data for insights, and suggest efficient solutions.
Communicate complex analytical findings into straightforward, understandable insights tailored for technical and non-technical audiences to facilitate prioritization and decision-making.
Continuously advance analytics infrastructure, semantic data models, experimentation methods, and future-oriented data capabilities.
Coordinate with Data Engineering teams to enhance the data platform, ensuring trustworthy and accessible information throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Several years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably within a tech-driven, product-oriented environment.
Proficiency in Python and SQL applied to real-world data challenges.
Documented success in developing production data products or analytical systems with measurable business benefits.
Comprehensive understanding of experimentation techniques, statistics, hypothesis testing, and data-driven decision processes.
Experience with modern data warehouses, data transformation tools, and analytics platforms; familiarity with dbt is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to work closely with Product, Growth, Marketing, or similar business units to resolve strategic challenges.
Strong analytical skills to scrutinize complex datasets, discover significant trends, and effectively convey insights.
High ownership drive, self-direction, adeptness in handling ambiguity, and prioritizing impactful projects.
Experience in B2C SaaS, subscription-based products, or product-led growth contexts is beneficial.
