About the Role
We are seeking a Data Analytics Intern to join the Global Product Management team within Lonza's Capsules & Health Ingredients (CHI) division, based in Gurugram with remote work flexibility. This position involves supporting strategic business initiatives through collection, organization, and analysis of market and product data to provide actionable insights. The intern will collaborate closely with Product Management, Market Intelligence, Sales, Strategy, and other departments to develop and maintain key databases aiding business growth and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Gather, organize, and upkeep data related to the global pharmaceutical market to support the Hard Empty Capsules business segment.
- Develop and maintain databases for the Health Ingredients portfolio, specifically including UC-II product details and competitor intelligence.
- Analyze complex large datasets and convert findings into clear, actionable insights for product managers and leadership.
- Work with cross-functional and external teams including Market Intelligence, Sales, Strategy, Finance, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Operations to collect and validate data.
- Assist in creating and maintaining databases covering product, market, competitor, and packaging information to enhance business visibility.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant analytical tools.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple sources and systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related disciplines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail.
- Experience handling large datasets and deriving valuable business insights.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Python, or R is an advantage.
- Proficient verbal and written English communication at business level.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams in a global setting.
