Data Analyst

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a partner company associated with Haystack for a skilled Data Analyst. The position involves consolidating expenses within the commercial department, conducting cost analysis, and providing insightful commentary.

Key Responsibilities

• Aggregate and analyze departmental expenses, delivering detailed reports on cost dynamics.
• Collaborate with the finance team and operational leaders to coordinate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) efforts.
• Develop and improve reporting packages, dashboards, as well as recurring FP&A deliverables to support decision-making.
• Discover and implement automation opportunities in finance processes to increase efficiency and accuracy of analyses.
• Utilize business intelligence and data visualization software such as Power BI to convert financial and operational data into meaningful insights.
• Design and upkeep revenue analytics dashboards, visual reports, and automated reporting mechanisms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• Between 5 and 8 years of experience in FP&A or commercial analytics roles.
• Strong analytical capabilities combined with meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems and Hyperion is essential.
• Understanding of US GAAP compliance and accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, with a preference for candidates experienced in creating or enhancing reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $83,000 to $129,900, reflective of experience and skills.
