Cyber Security Analyst

Role Overview

Le Kiosque à Services is seeking a part-time remote Cyber Security Analyst responsible for safeguarding digital assets, networks, and applications against security threats. This role entails monitoring security alerts, scrutinizing suspicious activities, and analyzing incidents to detect vulnerabilities and propose remedial measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing security evaluations and assessments.
• Support secure software development practices to mitigate risks.
• Participate in incident response and remediation processes.
• Document and prepare comprehensive security reports.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement effective security controls.
• Stay informed on evolving cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong cybersecurity analytical skills to evaluate risks and interpret security data.
• Proficiency in network security, including firewall management and monitoring network traffic anomalies.
• Skills in application security to detect and address software and web vulnerabilities.
• Experience with malware analysis to investigate malicious code and assist incident responses.
• Knowledge of standard security frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001, plus basics of SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools.
• Excellent communication, meticulous attention to detail, self-motivation for remote work, and teamwork capabilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or comparable credentials and prior experience in cybersecurity operations or analyst roles are advantageous.
