Role Overview

At Tesla, Customer Experience Specialists play a pivotal role by offering captivating and educational interactions with customers, ensuring memorable experiences that reflect our commitment to sustainable energy. They represent the brand from the first greeting at our showrooms through to vehicle delivery.

Responsibilities

• Approach and welcome guests promptly, initiating conversations to make them feel valued.
• Engage with visitors to understand their motivations, timelines, and preferences, creating personalized customer profiles.
• Provide tailored product insights and demonstrations including test drives and Full Self-Driving showcases based on customer interests.
• Lead comprehensive vehicle delivery orientations to familiarize new owners with key features and benefits.
• Maintain the sales pipeline by capturing customer data, scheduling test drives, and identifying highly motivated buyers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both current Tesla owners and prospective clients.
• Complete additional duties as needed to support business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of one year experience in customer service or sales with proven success in meeting targets.
• Genuine enthusiasm for Tesla's mission and the electric vehicle industry's advancements.
• Strong ability to grasp and communicate both business and technical topics effectively.
• Reliable team player with excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Superior verbal and written communication abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• For specific states including CA, CO, HI, and others: Must hold a Motor Vehicle Salesperson License, necessary to engage in sales activities.
• In some states like AZ, GA, HI, preference given to candidates with a notary license; Tesla may assist in obtaining this license if required.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay ranges between $22.71 and $28.80, varying by market location, candidate skills, knowledge, and experience. Additional compensation elements may be included depending on the position offered.
