Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations for PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia).
- Advise and provide independent oversight to the Strategic Advisory and Restructuring teams operating in Saudi Arabia.
- Manage interactions and reporting obligations with regulatory authorities such as the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and other government agencies.
- Monitor licensing and registration compliance for local personnel.
- Keep abreast of and assess regulatory changes in Saudi Arabia and advise the firm accordingly.
- Support regional Finance and Operations departments.
- Act as a vital liaison connecting the Saudi office with colleagues in London and New York to promote collaboration and consistency across global compliance efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years' experience in compliance within financial services, consultancy, or regulatory environments.
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- In-depth understanding of CMA regulations and procedures.
- Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and fund marketing services.
- Fluency in Arabic and strong written and spoken command of English.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage priorities and work independently.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex regulatory concepts clearly and to provide constructive challenge when necessary.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with global Legal & Compliance teams and broader corporate divisions.
- Analytical thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated risk awareness and ability to escalate concerns appropriately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
