Job description
Overview
This role involves the diagnosis and management of disorders related to the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and pancreas. The consultant will be responsible for performing various endoscopic techniques and therapeutic procedures to treat patients effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage conditions affecting the gastrointestinal system, liver, and pancreas.
- Perform endoscopic procedures including upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, colonoscopy, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and other therapeutic interventions.
- Provide consultation services for both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Interpret a variety of diagnostic tests such as endoscopy findings, imaging studies, and laboratory results to guide treatment plans.
