Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the group salary framework ensuring alignment with strategic targets and market competitiveness.
- Continuously review and adjust salary bands and grading structures in response to market trends, internal equity, and company evolution.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to ensure uniform application of salary policies across regions.
- Conduct frequent market benchmarking to guarantee compensation packages remain competitive across industries and geographies.
- Engage external consultants for accurate and current market data analysis.
- Design, implement, and manage performance-driven pay systems including variable annual salaries and long-term incentives, aligning with organizational goals.
- Create and supervise international benefits programs, such as health, retirement, and welfare plans ensuring compliance, competitiveness, and consistency across countries.
- Ensure adherence and alignment with the EU Pay Transparency Directive by overseeing legal compliance, implementing communication strategies, managing tools, and handling annual reporting.
- Lead and mentor a direct report specializing in HR Analytics, AI, and Compensation & Benefits administration.
Required Expertise and Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline.
- Certification in compensation and benefits (e.g., CCP or GRP) is advantageous.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience managing compensation and benefits, particularly in international contexts.
- Experience with German-headquartered companies, especially those with European operations.
- Strong analytical capabilities with skill in interpreting complex data to inform strategic decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of global compensation and benefits trends, practices, and pertinent regulations.
- Proficiency in salary benchmarking tools and compensation management systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of job grading methodologies such as those by WTW or Mercer.
- Exceptional communication skills for explaining complex compensation topics to senior management and employees.
- A passion for innovating compensation and benefits solutions and driving organizational change.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms preferred.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach in initiatives.
