Role Overview
The Communications Manager will spearhead all corporate communications and branding efforts, enhancing the institution’s public relations and digital presence. This role demands strategic oversight to promote and safeguard the brand’s reputation while engaging effectively with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute communication and public relations strategies.
- Handle corporate communications, media interactions, and maintain brand image.
- Administer social media channels including content planning and execution.
- Produce engaging materials such as press releases, newsletters, and website updates.
- Uphold consistent brand messaging across every communication platform.
- Manage communication activities related to campaigns, events, and collaborations.
- Monitor and report on communication outcomes and media exposure.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or similar fields.
- Postgraduate qualifications and relevant certifications are beneficial.
- Between 5 to 8 years of professional experience in communications, PR, branding, or related corporate communication roles.
- Exceptional skills in writing, storytelling, engaging stakeholders, and managing media relations.
- Previous experience within higher education or professional services sectors is a plus.
