About the Role
ProsParity, a FinTech firm specializing in electric vehicle financing across Tier-2 and Tier-3 Indian cities, is seeking a proactive Collection Executive. This role focuses on customer follow-ups, field collections, managing overdue accounts, and recovery operations while upholding a customer-first philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telephone calls and in-person visits to customers with overdue payments.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding installments and maintain continuous customer engagement.
- Achieve monthly collection and recovery targets set by management.
- Monitor delinquent accounts and provide daily updates on collection statuses.
- Work with customers to understand and address repayment difficulties.
- Refer high-risk or non-responsive accounts to the Collection Lead or Cluster Collections Manager.
- Support vehicle repossession processes aligned with company policies.
- Assist in issuing and delivering legal notices to defaulters.
- Liaise with legal teams and field partners as required.
- Maintain detailed documentation of recovery and repossession activities.
- Update customer interaction and collection data daily within the system.
- Prepare and submit collection reports daily, weekly, and monthly to management.
- Ensure compliance with RBI Fair Practices Code, Digital Lending Guidelines, and internal policies during collections.
- Uphold transparency, ethical conduct, and confidentiality in all customer dealings.
Field Work Locations
This position requires frequent travel within the Narmadapuram region, including areas such as Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad), Itarsi, Seoni-Malwa, Pipariya, Sohagpur, Babai (Makrai/Sahajpur), Bankhedi, and Dolariya for collection and recovery duties.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in collections, recovery, or field operations within vehicle finance, microfinance, NBFC, or lending sectors preferred.
- Proficient communication skills in Hindi and basic English.
- Capability to conduct field visits and manage customer relations efficiently.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel regularly in the assigned areas.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in vehicle loan collections, familiarity with local markets, and holding a two-wheeler along with a valid driving license.
