Role Overview
We seek a Co-Founder to steer the business growth by sourcing funding, sponsorships, and cultivating strategic alliances. This role entails leadership in commercial development and maintaining vital relationships to advance our mission.
Responsibilities
- Attract investments from angel investors, venture capital firms, family offices, corporations, and other strategic funders.
- Obtain sponsorships for international events including conferences, webinars, reports, podcasts, and research projects.
- Forge and maintain partnerships with governmental bodies, NGOs, universities, technology firms, and organizations in cybersecurity.
- Identify grant opportunities and draft compelling funding proposals.
- Oversee communications with investors and nurture existing and potential investor relations.
- Lead outreach initiatives using LinkedIn, email campaigns, and strategic networking efforts.
- Represent Forensic Times in business meetings, conferences, and professional discussions.
- Create partnership proposals, sponsorship packages, and presentation materials for investors.
- Negotiate and formalize commercial partnerships and strategic collaborations.
- Collaborate closely with the Founder to devise strategies for fundraising and organizational growth.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in raising capital or obtaining sponsorships.
- Substantial experience in business development or strategic partnerships.
- Existing network comprising investors, corporations, governmental agencies, or industry leaders.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Professional background in startups, media, technology, cybersecurity, consulting, or investment strongly preferred.
- Highly self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
