Job Overview

Jay Info Services is seeking a full-time CCTV Technician based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The role involves installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and configure CCTV cameras including DVR/NVR systems.
• Install various types of cameras such as IP and analog, along with PoE switches and related hardware.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to CCTV equipment.
• Enable remote and mobile viewing capabilities through proper network configuration.
• Verify camera angles, recording functionality, storage, and video quality.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and clean cameras regularly.
• Analyze problems related to cables, power supplies, HDDs, DVR/NVR units, and network components.
• Travel to customer locations for installations, servicing, and annual maintenance contracts.
• Keep thorough records of all installation and servicing activities.
• Deliver technical support professionally to customers.

Skills and Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR hardware, and networking principles.
• Familiarity with LAN setup, IP addressing, and router configuration.
• Competent in identifying and resolving CCTV faults.
• Effective communication and customer interaction skills.
• Willingness to travel as required to client sites.
• Educational background of ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical experience preferred.
