Role Overview

As a Category Manager stationed in a city, you will oversee essential on-ground operations and contribute directly to expanding Urban Company's service partner ecosystem. The position demands robust problem-solving capabilities, analytical insights, and flawless execution to enhance partner quality, optimize supply, and enrich customer experiences, supporting overall city growth metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of partner onboarding including sourcing, screening, selection, and training processes.
• Oversee the supply operations to boost partner productivity and maintain network quality.
• Assist in strategic planning for supply, demand, and revenue within the category.
• Identify operational challenges and deploy scalable improvements.
• Leverage business data analytics for effective decision-making and improving efficiency.
• Collaborate with departments such as Product, Marketing, Operations, and Technology to roll out citywide and broader initiatives.
• Enhance customer and partner satisfaction through data-driven solutions.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement ongoing enhancements.

Candidate Profile

• 6 months to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree holder; advanced degrees such as MBA or postgraduate qualifications are not mandatory.
• Strong analytical acumen coupled with effective problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI is advantageous.
• Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and execution skills.
• A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to tackle operational challenges directly.
