The role

We are hiring a Capital Solutions Analyst to help expand the origination and capital markets deal team. This is a full-time, onsite position based in New York City near Union Square.

What you will do

  • Build financial models for project acquisitions, portfolio-level analysis, and project-level evaluation to assess new markets, investors, products, and corporate acquisition opportunities.
  • Support transaction execution, including due diligence work such as data room review and research, preparation of project documents, closing activities, portfolio management, and other assignments from management.
  • Work with financial institutions, investment banks, commercial banks, tax equity providers, and other sources of capital involved in renewable energy, distributed energy, and electrical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with teams across business development, legal, marketing, engineering, and project analysis to assess and move opportunities from initial sourcing through closing.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or another quantitatively focused field. The role calls for at least 1 year of experience on investment banking or corporate banking deal teams in a relevant sector such as digital infrastructure, electric power generation and utilities, clean tech, or energy transition, or experience in consulting or sponsor-side corporate finance and project finance within renewable energy.
