CAD Technician

About the Role

RADISE International, a reputable engineering and surveying company with over 40 years of experience serving South Florida, is seeking an Engineering CADD Technician to join their Belle Glade, FL team. Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed construction drawings and plan sets for civil engineering projects involving water, sewer, drainage, roadways, and site development.
• Develop utility, grading, and drainage plans utilizing the latest AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Accurately interpret and apply engineering markups and corrections.
• Contribute to assembling complete drawing packages and related documents for permitting and construction processes.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings align with project specifications.
• Maintain orderly digital folders and adhere to company CAD standards.
• Deliver high-quality and precise work within established deadlines.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least two years of experience in civil engineering CAD drafting.
• Expertise in the latest version of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Working knowledge of civil infrastructure including water, sewer, stormwater, and road systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Capability to work independently with limited oversight.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
