Overview
This role, recruited through a partner company, is for a Business Operations Coordinator position located in Canada. The position offers the chance to play a pivotal part within a rapidly expanding tech and operations setting. It involves connecting various teams, streamlining workflows, and ensuring smooth daily business operations across multiple functions including product, sales, finance, marketing, and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional projects, company events, and operational initiatives involving various business units.
- Support the successful execution of campaigns by overseeing launches, coordinating with partners, and ensuring completion of operational tasks.
- Serve as the main contact point for internal operations queries and help resolve day-to-day operational challenges.
- Create and maintain documentation for internal workflows, systems, processes, and standard operating procedures to enhance scalability and efficiency.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and optimizing business processes.
- Contribute to the development, debugging, and improvement of low-code/no-code automation tools.
- Support data-driven business decisions by generating reports, analyzing data, and ensuring data quality from various platforms.
- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance processes, systems, and team collaboration.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in coordinating multi-team projects.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with e-commerce platforms like Shopify.
- At least 1 year of experience managing or building automations using low-code/no-code tools such as Airtable or Zapier.
- Experience in creating analytical reports and working with data from tools like Shopify, HubSpot, Airtable, BigQuery, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and visual, including documentation using tools like Miro or Figma.
- Quick adaptability to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
- Strong organizational abilities to handle changing priorities and multiple workflows.
- A user-centric attitude with creativity, proactiveness, and solution-oriented thinking.
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Experience in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments is a plus.
- CAPM certification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with using AI tools to automate workflows and boost productivity is an asset.
