Business Analyst

Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst with 8 to 12 years of experience, ideally within Cards, Payments, or Retail Banking sectors. This role requires defining business and functional requirements, improving processes, and facilitating technology projects by working closely with both business and IT teams to deliver compliant, scalable, and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, functional requirements, and user stories.
• Convert business demands into precise system specifications and define acceptance criteria.
• Engage with stakeholders, lead workshops, and actively participate in Agile and Scrum meetings.
• Examine existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and propose improvements or automation.
• Develop process diagrams, reports, and presentations to assist decision-making processes.
• Create comprehensive test plans and cases; support system testing and user acceptance testing phases.
• Manage and resolve issues using tools such as JIRA and Confluence, collaborating closely with IT teams.
• Evaluate risks, ensure process compliance, and maintain clear and transparent reporting.
• Be prepared to work night shifts starting from 6:00 PM IST.

Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
• 8–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in domains like Cards, Payments, or Retail Banking.
• Proficient in data analysis and advanced use of MS Office applications like Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with business analysis software such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio, including process mapping and documentation skills.
• Strong communication skills with excellent analytical thinking and stakeholder management capabilities.
