Business Analyst / Data Analyst

Role Overview

This position is for a Business Analyst / Data Analyst working full-time at the company based in the Singapore River area. The role offers some flexibility for hybrid working arrangements, allowing occasional work from home. The main responsibility is to analyze various data types including product, customer, and operational datasets to detect patterns, highlight opportunities, and identify performance deficiencies within the Rivyo platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams across product, engineering, marketing, and customer success to gather business requirements.
• Document workflows and translate data-driven insights into practical recommendations.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor vital metrics.
• Conduct ad hoc data analyses to inform product improvements and strategies to grow the customer base.
• Revise and enhance business processes for improved efficiency and scalability.
• Verify data accuracy and consistently communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong analytic capabilities including experience interpreting complex datasets to extract actionable insights.
• Proficient business analysis skills, capable of converting business demands into clear requirements and solutions.
• Experience improving business processes to foster efficiency and scalability.
• Adept at collecting and documenting business requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills suitable for conveying data-intensive recommendations to audiences both technical and non-technical.
• Skilled in data analysis and reporting tools including Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, and BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Familiarity with e-commerce or SaaS environments, with preference given to experience involving Shopify or similar platforms.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Detail-minded with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, product-centric setting.
• Capable of effective collaboration in a hybrid work model, demonstrating high accountability and ownership.
