Biology / Environmental Science Evaluator

Role overview

This is a fully remote independent contractor role for a Biology and Environmental Science evaluator. The work is hourly, flexible, and self-managed, with the chance to continue on additional projects depending on business requirements and performance.

What you'll do

• Assess Biology and Environmental Science outputs produced by advanced models, checking them for correctness, analytical strength, and overall quality.
• Review documents, spreadsheets, and slide presentations using structured evaluation rubrics.
• Spot factual mistakes, weak analysis, presentation shortcomings, and other quality issues across different file types.
• Write clear, organized, and practical feedback that can be used to improve future model outputs.
• Support the improvement of model performance through careful domain-specific review.

Compensation and engagement

The role offers hourly pay of $80 to $120. Payments are made weekly through Stripe or Wise. This is an independent contractor engagement with potential for project extensions based on need and performance.

Requirements

• Strong subject-matter knowledge in Biology and/or Environmental Science.
• Ability to evaluate work against domain-specific standards and grading rubrics.
• Skill in producing concise, structured, and actionable written feedback.
• Professional or native-level English fluency for evaluation and communication.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, especially PowerPoint and Google Slides.
• A master’s degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred.
