Position Overview

The BIM Manager will lead, implement, and oversee Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for the Sharaan Resort #1 Project in Saudi Arabia. This role requires ensuring BIM workflows meet project goals and contract terms, managing coordination across all design and construction disciplines within a digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, apply, and update a project-tailored BIM Execution Plan that complies with client needs, industry best practices, and local standards.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings to foster collaboration among architecture, engineering, and construction teams while addressing model-related challenges.
• Supervise and verify the quality, precision, and completeness of BIM models provided by consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Handle model integrations, detect clashes, and generate reports to assist constructability reviews, timelines, and budgeting.
• Communicate with project staff and stakeholders to guarantee smooth data transfer and integration throughout all phases.
• Set BIM protocols and workflows specific to the Sharaan Resort #1 project, ensuring standardization and regulatory adherence.
• Deliver training, support, and expert advice to both internal teams and external partners regarding BIM methods and tools.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of BIM outputs, modifications, and approvals throughout design and construction.
• Produce periodic BIM progress updates for project management and client representatives.
• Support the acquisition and implementation of BIM-related hardware, software, and technologies necessary for the project.
• Work alongside IT and digital leadership to protect the security and integrity of BIM data and models.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar fields.
• At least 8 years of BIM management experience, preferably including underground tunneling or building initiatives.
• Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record managing BIM teams and coordinating models across multiple disciplines.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Expertise in BIM software like Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, among others.
• Deep knowledge of international BIM standards such as ISO 19650 and PAS 1192, along with compliance to Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Familiarity with digital construction processes including 4D scheduling and 5D cost estimation is advantageous.
