About the Role

Join BAM UK & Ireland as a DPS Project Lead/BIM Manager on our Cork project. In this position, you will report to the assigned Digital Project Solutions (DPS) Business Partner and be responsible for implementing and managing digital tools to capture, share, and utilize information that enhances project and contract delivery. You will oversee project or contract information management and tactically deploy project-based technology to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

Oversee pipeline and workload management to ensure the delivery of service aligned with client requirements while coordinating with DPS Digital Engineering, Production, and Support teams to allocate adequate resources.
Maintain thorough understanding of client and business expectations, ensuring all plans, specifications, reviews, and controls are properly established.
Operate in compliance with industry standards, relevant codes of practice, internal procedures, and legal mandates related to construction and digital project management.
Ensure adherence to high safety, environmental, and quality standards; report any deviations or non-compliance issues promptly.
Lead communication about risks, opportunities, changes, and commercial impacts within the project or contract team, ensuring proper documentation as per BAM protocols.
Provide training and support on information management, including Common Data Environment (CDE) use, to project teams and stakeholders.
Direct and coordinate the creation and delivery of Project and Asset Information Models based on Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs) and BAM's ISO 19650 standards.
When BAM acts as the Appointing Party, lead development of the Appointing Party’s ISO 19650 protocols and related deliverables.
Implement systems for secure management, sharing, storage, archiving, and disposal of project information throughout project lifecycles.
Collaborate with commercial and legal departments to embed Information Requirements, Standards, Methods, and Procedures into contractual agreements.
Develop, maintain, and implement project/contract ISO 19650 protocols and ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project EIRs.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Strong verbal and written communication and management capabilities.
Experience in digital construction, facilities management, and document management.
Background in design and construction industries with familiarity in tender processes.
Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.
Higher education in Construction or related disciplines.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years' relevant experience on construction projects or facilities management contracts involving digital solutions.
Proficiency with 4D scheduling software to visualize construction sequencing and support risk mitigation.
Understanding of 5D forecasting linking programme, model, and cost data and extracting necessary information for role functions.
Ability to map information flow across inputs, processes, and outputs efficiently.
Skilled in linking digital software with technological systems.
Expertise in managing and delivering information requirements using documents such as BEP (BIM Execution Plans) and MIDP (Master Information Delivery Plans).
