Key Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and point-of-sale system precisely, handling both cash and credit card payments efficiently.
• Welcome customers warmly and anticipate their needs to enhance their experience.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks adhering to brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items consistent with location-specific guidelines.
• Count, organize, and reconcile the cash drawer, complete cashier slips, and prepare deposits following company protocols.
• Comply fully with the company's cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up, break down, and maintain cleanliness of coffee bars, stations, or the store area, including thorough sanitization.
• Keep work areas clean and sanitary at all times.
• Replenish beverage coolers, grab-and-go selections, service ware, and condiments as needed.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards for all products handled.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management, which may evolve as per company needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience handling cash transactions is an asset.
• Previous barista experience is advantageous.
• Basic arithmetic and counting skills required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must comply with assigned dress code.
• Good command of English for communication and recipe comprehension.
• Completion of Food Handling Certification where applicable.
• Physical duties may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Wearing uniforms and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
