Job Overview

This full-time role at Domino's Pizza in Palmdale, CA involves managing multiple store operations including equipment handling, inventory control, product preparation, order processing, and delivery tasks. The assistant manager will also be responsible for leading staff and maintaining quality standards across all functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various store equipment and maintain cleanliness on a daily basis.
• Manage ingredient stocking from deliveries to storage areas, workstations, and walk-in coolers.
• Prepare menu items accurately and efficiently.
• Take and process telephone and in-person orders.
• Conduct inventory counts and complete related paperwork.
• Deliver products to customers safely using personal vehicle; also distribute flyers and promotional materials.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Access to a properly insured vehicle for delivery duties.
• Must successfully pass background checks and have open availability.
• Ability to understand and communicate written and verbal instructions clearly.
• Competent in math operations and making correct monetary change.
• Proficiency with computers or touchscreen order entry systems.
• Navigational skills to locate addresses within delivery zones, including multi-floor buildings.
• Capacity to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs, and standing for long periods.

Training

Comprehensive orientation and on-the-job training will be provided to ensure operational proficiency.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• Exposure to varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, and mechanical parts.
• Tasks require talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, and depth perception.
• Work involves standing most of the time and walking short distances multiple times daily.
• Delivery may require navigating stairs and carrying food items while walking.
• Physical activities include lifting, carrying, pushing, stooping, crouching, bending, reaching, and continuous hand-eye coordination.
