Role Overview

As an Apprentice Automotive Technician, you will acquire practical automotive skills required to fulfill industry-standard training outlined by the ITO. Working closely with seasoned technicians and the Service Manager, you will contribute to workshop productivity and quality while expanding your technical expertise and hands-on abilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Obtain hands-on automotive skills and knowledge by learning from qualified technicians and peers.
• Embrace new challenges and seek continuous learning to enhance your abilities.
• Complete at least 75 ITO training credits yearly to support your apprenticeship progression.
• Manage your tasks efficiently, prioritizing workload and requesting help when needed.
• Ensure timely completion of jobs with accurate job card cost recording.

Health, Safety and Environmental Responsibilities

• Follow all health and safety protocols as per Keith Andrews’ policies while performing tasks.
• Recognize hazards in your workspace and adopt suitable measures to ensure safety for yourself and others.
• Immediately report any incidents, accidents, or near misses to your Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
• Be environmentally conscious and take actions to mitigate any negative impact.

Customer Service Expectations

• Maintain a professional image with a neat appearance and well-kept uniform.
• Interact politely, respectfully, and helpfully with customers and colleagues at all times.
