About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is a prominent IT services and consulting provider operating globally, recognized for its dedication to digital innovation and engineering excellence. We are seeking an Application Packaging Engineer based in Chennai to support our software deployment initiatives and enhance client solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create software packages using AdminStudio and PowerShell Application Deployment Toolkit (PSADT).
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts tailored to specific customer needs.
- Engage with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes using tools like Jenkins and GitHub, implementing recognized best practices.
- Diagnose and resolve application-related performance issues within Windows environments, including handling upgrades and patch management.
- Collaborate within Agile teams, actively participating in daily and weekly scrum meetings.
Desired Skills
- Basic understanding of macOS systems.
- Command-line scripting proficiency, including PowerShell scripting and Unix command basics.
