Overview

ZB Financial Holdings invites experienced professionals to join as AI Engineers to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI, machine learning, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency, enabling intelligent automation, and driving data-driven decision-making within financial services while ensuring security, scalability, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement AI, machine learning, and generative AI solutions addressing specific business challenges, aligned with enterprise architecture strategies and disaster recovery standards.
Create production-grade applications utilizing modern AI technologies such as large language model integration, retrieval-augmented generation, tool-using workflows, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning when necessary.
Identify and prioritize AI and automation opportunities to form a practical delivery roadmap.
Analyze business processes to uncover inefficiencies and deploy AI and RPA solutions enhancing accuracy, speed, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Integrate automation solutions with core banking, insurance, and enterprise systems while maintaining operational continuity.
Design monitoring pipelines and retraining procedures to sustain model accuracy, performance, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies concerning accuracy, latency, cost, robustness, and security both pre- and post-release.
Identify and reduce AI-specific risks, such as model bias, hallucination, data leakage, prompt injection, security vulnerabilities, and potential system failure.
Apply architectural standards and best development practices for continuous enhancement.
Ensure all AI and automation implementations comply with relevant regulatory, security, governance, and data protection policies.
Evaluate and recommend AI tools and frameworks while managing third-party vendors as delegated.
Maintain clear documentation to support auditability, compliance, and support.
Communicate complex technical AI concepts and outcomes effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Lead, mentor, and coach junior AI engineers and RPA developers fostering innovation and continuous learning.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
Certification in Robotic Process Automation platforms such as UiPath or Microsoft Power Automate.
Cloud platform certification (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and certifications in Agile, SCRUM, or ITIL are preferred.
Minimum of three years of relevant experience in software engineering, AI/ML model development, or RPA implementation.
Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated sectors is advantageous.
Proficient in Python and libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow; working knowledge of Java, TypeScript, or C#.
Practical experience with large language model applications including API integration, vector embeddings, agent frameworks, and evaluation.
MLOps and LLMOps skills including CI/CD, version control, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), deployment, observability, drift detection, and cost management.
Data engineering capabilities involving SQL, working with structured and unstructured data, preprocessing, and building robust AI data pipelines.
Hands-on use of RPA platforms like UiPath or Microsoft Power Automate.
