Role Purpose

The Agent - Air Export Gateway will be responsible for planning consignments for optimal yield while fulfilling customer expectations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Make export bookings with airlines to diverse destinations via email and phone communication.
• Cultivate effective relationships with airline partners.
• Ensure compliance with Pharmaceutical and Healthcare regulations following GDP/GDPMDS standards.
• Track shipments to confirm timely loading on scheduled flights and arrival at destinations.
• Optimize unit build-up and minimize space wastage to enhance yield.
• Provide timely flight information to internal stakeholders.
• Promptly report any shipment discrepancies or offloading incidents to Customer Service and other offices.
• Process recap and settlements with destination offices within deadlines.
• Verify airline invoices to confirm accurate billing amounts.
• Undertake additional duties as needed to support departmental objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Tertiary education.
• Three to five years of experience in an airfreight forwarding environment.
