Job Role

This full-time, onsite position based in Abu Dhabi involves performing and managing a range of dermatological and aesthetic treatments. The role includes conducting skin evaluations, developing treatment plans, and administering non-invasive and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. Key responsibilities focus on operating sophisticated dermatology and laser equipment, assessing treatment progress, and maintaining comprehensive clinical records.

The specialist will educate clients on available therapies, post-treatment care, and ongoing skincare routines, while ensuring strict compliance with safety and infection control protocols. Collaboration with the clinical team will aim to enhance patient satisfaction, support continual service enhancement, and engage in training for new tools and methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in clinical dermatology including skin assessments, diagnosing common aesthetic and dermatologic conditions, and devising suitable treatment schemes.
• Skilled in aesthetic techniques such as laser therapies, chemical peels, injectables (botulinum toxin, dermal fillers), and other non-surgical cosmetic procedures.
• Experienced in utilizing advanced laser platforms like Cynosure, Deka, and Candela Gentle Max Pro or equivalents, with strong attention to treatment safety and efficacy.
• Effective communication and counseling abilities to clarify procedures, manage expectations, secure informed consent, and provide thorough aftercare guidance.
• Dedication to maintaining high clinical hygiene standards, including infection control, meticulous medical recordkeeping, and adherence to healthcare regulations.
• Possession of a relevant medical or clinical qualification in dermatology or aesthetic medicine such as MD, DO, a dermatology specialization, or recognized aesthetic medicine certification.
• Valid medical license or eligibility to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE following local health authority norms.
• Proven capability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, embracing a client-focused perspective and cultural sensitivity.
• Continuous commitment to professional growth, remaining informed about evidence-based dermatological and aesthetic treatments and new technological advancements.
