  • Organize departmental meetings and events, managing logistics such as venue setup, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Oversee departmental budgets, monitor spending, and process procurement and reimbursement transactions.
  • Support onboarding processes for faculty and staff, including visa documentation for international personnel.
  • Manage Lecturer Employee Organization (LEO) appointments, renewals, and employment actions such as overloads and summer appointments.
  • Prepare personnel documentation and Personnel Action Requests (PARs), maintaining faculty personnel files.
  • Assist faculty and staff with travel planning, including expense reports and reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with communications staff to update departmental website content.
  • Create and disseminate departmental announcements, promotional materials, and event invitations.
  • Provide administrative assistance for study abroad initiatives and other department projects.
