Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-focused Account Coordinator based in the United States to support crucial account maintenance and billing activities within a dynamic customer service setting. This remote role involves ensuring data accuracy and smooth workflows across various internal systems while collaborating with multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update comprehensive customer account records including service details, billing information, tax data, and disposal site records.
- Establish new customer accounts following requests from internal teams and customer service inquiries.
- Handle service changes such as modifications, suspensions, corrections, and updates to pricing information.
- Manage billing adjustments and assist with urgent billing requests to meet customer expectations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts while adhering to internal compliance and data accuracy standards.
- Support audit corrections, special projects, and administrative tasks as required.
- Collaborate closely with teams in accounting, finance, customer service, and operations to ensure efficient account management.
- Follow established procedures and contribute to ongoing improvements in account maintenance processes.
Candidate Requirements
- At least one year of experience in roles related to clerical work, administration, billing, or customer support.
- Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with customer-facing duties.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to keep accurate records and complete tasks expediently.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel and Word.
- Capacity to juggle multiple tasks, adhere to structured procedures, and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate well within internal teams.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
- Availability to work Arizona business hours during the initial training phase, with greater schedule flexibility subsequently.
