Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement SEO strategies specifically for YouTube to boost video visibility and organic audience growth.
• Perform detailed keyword research employing platforms such as YouTube Search, Google Trends, TubeBuddy, and vidIQ.
• Optimize all video metadata including titles, descriptions, tags, relevant hashtags, thumbnails, chapters, playlists, cards, and end screens for maximum reach.
• Focus on improving vital engagement metrics like Click-Through Rate (CTR), Watch Time, retention rates, and subscriber numbers.
• Regularly track YouTube Analytics to generate performance reports highlighting insights and tailored recommendations.
• Conduct competitor analysis to pinpoint areas for channel improvement.
• Work collaboratively with content creators, video editors, and graphic designers to enhance organic outreach.
• Stay abreast of updates in YouTube's algorithm, SEO methodologies, and emerging industry trends.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in YouTube SEO.
• Comprehensive understanding of YouTube’s ranking systems and algorithmic factors.
• Proficiency in utilizing YouTube Studio, YouTube Analytics, TubeBuddy, vidIQ, and Google Trends for SEO and performance analysis.
• Solid grasp of keyword research tailored to YouTube's search intent.
• Prior experience working with YouTube channels in sectors like Business, Finance, News, or Media is preferred.
