About HungerStation and Role Overview
HungerStation, a division of the global Delivery Hero Group based in Berlin and present in over 70 countries, aims to provide fast and seamless delivery experiences. We are inviting applications for the position of Workforce Management Assistant Manager located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of third-party picker workforce by sourcing and onboarding appropriate partners, coordinating interviews, ensuring proper store coverage and scheduling shifts, as well as managing operational preparedness such as transportation and housing proximity to ensure timely attendance at stores.
- Enhance picker performance by monitoring attendance, hygiene, and productivity levels; coordinate training and feedback with partners; and enforce replacement policies if performance standards are not met within the specified improvement timeframe.
- Analyze workforce and operational metrics including utilization, adherence, and attendance to uncover inefficiencies, address staffing shortages at stores, and enact improvements that optimize workforce deployment.
- Manage vendor partnerships by reviewing contracts, assessing vendor operational readiness, and collaborating with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Operations teams to guarantee compliance and ensure seamless partner interactions.
- Monitor partner accountability, resolve issues, apply contractual penalties when needed, and recommend vendor suspension or termination for persistent non-compliance with HungerStation standards.
- Set clear performance goals, support and evaluate direct reports regularly, and facilitate feedback mechanisms.
- Engage in talent identification and recruitment for workforce functions.
- Provide leadership by prioritizing tasks, delegating responsibilities, and tracking workflow to ensure efficient operations.
- Encourage team participation in improvement, innovation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Comply with all internal policies and procedures ensuring consistency and control in daily operations.
- Continuously seek process improvements to increase operational effectiveness.
- Promote and maintain a high-performance culture aligned with HungerStation’s values.
Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of experience in workforce management, operations planning, or capacity planning.
- Experience working in contact center, logistics, or operations-intensive environments.
- Proven skills in forecasting, scheduling, and performance reporting.
- Competency in managing cross-functional stakeholders including Operations, HR, Finance, and Procurement departments.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field is mandatory.
