We are currently supporting a major German logistics firm as it upgrades its tracking and financial reporting systems by developing advanced performance management features to meet increased data demands. We are seeking a Web Developer Intern to help convert complex data into clear, efficient web interfaces and internal applications as part of this and other projects.

Role Overview

This technically focused internship offers an opportunity to observe how web technologies underpin large-scale corporate operations. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work independently while maintaining regular communication with senior team members. You will not be involved in creating marketing pages or flashy designs but will focus on building user-friendly dashboards and interfaces that enable executives to make informed decisions based on accurate data.

You will collaborate closely with experienced consultants who emphasize practical, maintainable solutions and thorough documentation. The main goal is to develop durable tools with comprehensive handovers to client teams at project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining web dashboards utilizing HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Work alongside data experts to ensure front-end components correctly represent business logic.
Create clear documentation and configuration manuals that outline the structure of customized tools.
Engage in internal quality reviews to guarantee reliability and clarity of web components.
Test user interfaces across various devices to ensure consistent client experiences.
Support implementation of data visualizations that simplify complex logistics data.
Develop straightforward internal tools to aid consultants in managing project workflows efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript sufficient to produce functional web pages based on designs or specifications.
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from computer science, web development, or related academic fields.
Preference for writing clean, maintainable, and predictable code rather than intricate or experimental solutions.
Strong written communication skills, particularly for creating clear instructions and documentation.
Interest in business data structures and professional data presentation methods.
Capability to work autonomously in a remote environment while managing tasks and deadlines effectively.
Familiarity with Git or version control practices is a plus but not mandatory.
