Role Overview
This full-time position based on-site in Broome, WA, involves managing warehouse activities. The Warehouse Storeperson will handle stock receipt, verification, and storage, ensuring safe and precise handling throughout. Responsibilities include picking and packing items, vehicle loading and unloading, maintaining inventory levels, and organizing the warehouse to optimize workflow. Candidates will operate manual handling equipment, adhere strictly to safety standards, and sustain a tidy work environment. Collaboration with operations and delivery teams is essential to meet order deadlines and deliver excellent customer service.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, and packing goods.
- Competence in safely conducting manual handling tasks and operating basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys; possessing a forklift licence is advantageous.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in stock management, paperwork completion, and following inventory procedures.
- Effective time management and ability to perform efficiently within a fast-paced, team-focused setting.
- Dependable and safety-focused work ethics, with dedication to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills necessary for stock counting and reading order documentation; prior experience in foodservice or distribution sectors is beneficial.
- Holding a valid driver’s licence and the capacity to work on-site in Broome, WA, including standard full-time hours and occasional overtime as needed.
