About Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea
Situated within Saudi Arabia's ambitious Red Sea Project, the Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea resorts offer a nature-centric guest experience across 361 rooms and eleven unique dining venues, including overwater restaurants with views of the Red Sea and surrounding mangroves. Adjacent to an 18-hole championship golf course, the resort emphasizes sustainable development on a 200km stretch of pristine coastline featuring an archipelago of over 90 untouched islands, dormant volcanoes, rich marine ecosystems, and historical archaeological sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver respectful, professional, and prompt food and beverage service continuously.
- Anticipate and respond proactively to guest preferences and needs for enhanced satisfaction.
- Introduce menu selections effectively and provide thorough explanations of dishes and drinks.
- Maintain comprehensive understanding of menu offerings, including daily specials and beverages.
- Handle guest feedback diplomatically and escalate concerns to the Manager on Duty.
- Promptly serve and clear food and beverages unobtrusively.
- Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and reset adhering to established service standards.
- Assist teammates with food delivery, table service, and station replenishment.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between Front of House and Back of House to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to opening and closing checklists for seamless operational flow.
- Keep service stations orderly and clean at all times.
- Support daily financial and operational objectives of the outlet.
- Comply strictly with all financial handling procedures.
- Maintain standards aligned with LQA, Forbes recognition, and guest satisfaction metrics.
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP and FIFO health standards.
- Observe all health, safety, and emergency protocols, including evacuation procedures.
- Report safety hazards and maintenance needs promptly through designated systems.
- Maintain clear communication with colleagues and management.
- Participate actively in briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
- Assist other departments as necessary to support overall hotel functioning.
- Keep consistent grooming and presentation standards.
- Complete any other duties or special assignments as delegated by management.
- Exemplify accountability and responsibility within the workplace environment.
- Contribute to sustainability efforts and responsible operation practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one to two years experience in a comparable position, ideally in a luxury hospitality setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent credential preferred.
