Role Overview
This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead the Volunteer program for the Department for Child Protection in Port Pirie, South Australia. You will be instrumental in recruiting, training, and mentoring volunteers to enhance community service outcomes, particularly supporting the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. Your role also involves maintaining administrative processes and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and assess volunteers through focused mentorship and guidance programs.
- Evaluate and support the growth of volunteer services in the community to ensure high service quality.
- Apply critical thinking to improve departmental processes and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports incorporating statistical and qualitative data.
- Provide administrative assistance while ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
