Videographer - Independent Contractor

About the Role

Innov8 Digital Media LTD is looking for a talented Independent Contractor to perform high-quality videography work on a project-by-project basis. This opportunity suits a creative professional with solid technical skills and experience in producing various video content, including corporate, promotional, social media, and narrative projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Record premium video footage across different types of projects, capturing the intended visual storytelling.
• Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and team members to realize the creative objectives of each assignment.
• Set up and operate advanced camera equipment, lighting, and audio tools to achieve cinematic quality visuals.
• Maintain optimal framing, focus, and exposure throughout filming.
• Secure and manage all recorded media, preparing content for subsequent editing stages.
• Use the CORE project management platform to schedule, review briefs, and maintain team communication.
• Coordinate project emergency contacts and conduct site risk assessments when necessary.
• Participate in planning meetings and respond to project communications within 48 hours.
• Wear company-provided uniforms if required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Established professional experience as a videographer supported by a strong portfolio or showreel.
• Possession and proficient use of Sony Cineline cinema cameras and accompanying lenses.
• Expertise in lighting methods and audio recording techniques to ensure high production quality.
• Ownership of professional-grade videography equipment, including cameras, tripods, lighting, and audio devices.
• Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities paired with a dependable, deadline-oriented work ethic.
• Familiarity with operating the CORE project management system effectively.
• Valid Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance coverage.

Additional Information

This position is a contract role, offering flexibility to work on various projects as part of a collaborative team. Compensation is determined per project, based on experience and requirements.
