Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our marketing team remotely from Georgia on a full-time basis. The primary responsibility is crafting effective, platform-tailored video ads for Nysonian’s brands to boost engagement and conversion in paid social campaigns. The candidate will turn raw footage into engaging narratives optimized for TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social channels while collaborating closely with designers, copywriters, and strategists.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and create top-quality video assets for paid social ads, websites, and marketing campaigns.
• Develop engaging storytelling with strong hooks and pacing tailored to each platform.
• Polish user-generated content, influencer clips, and brand videos into performance-driven assets.
• Incorporate motion graphics, captions, sound effects, and music to enhance viewer engagement.
• Adapt long-form content into short formats suited for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
• Collaborate with creative teams to maintain brand consistency and meet campaign goals.
• Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
• Keep current with platform trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to optimize creative output.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communications, or a related discipline preferred.
• 2 to 4 years of professional video editing experience in agency, D2C brand, or eCommerce environments.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or comparable editing software.
• Experience using AI-based video tools such as Runway ML or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of content formats and performance metrics on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Meta platforms.
• Portfolio showcasing high-performing, high-quality video content.
• Skills in motion graphics, basic animation, and sound design.
• Focus on storytelling that drives measurable marketing outcomes like CTR, engagement, and ROAS.
• Excellent project management capabilities to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Trend-aware with a sharp eye for detail and passion for innovative content creation.
• Collaborative, independent, and data-driven approach to testing and optimizing videos.
