Position Summary

We are seeking a driven and imaginative Video Editor skilled at converting concepts into captivating visual content. The ideal candidate will have strong technical editing capabilities, an eye for detail, and a solid grasp of visual storytelling to produce engaging videos across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce polished video content for social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Create both short and long-form video content including Reels, Shorts, advertisements, promotional clips, corporate videos, testimonials, educational materials, and brand campaigns.
• Perform expert-level editing, color correction and grading, audio enhancement and synchronization, motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, and other visual effects.
• Work collaboratively with graphic designers, content creators, digital marketers, and creative strategists to realize creative concepts.
• Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines and are optimized for specific platforms.
• Organize project files for efficient workflows and manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest editing methods, AI-based creative tools, and social media trends.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• Strong knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
• Skills in color correction, grading, audio editing, and sound design.
• Experience with typography, subtitle animation, video compression, export settings, and platform optimization.
• Familiarity with social media video formats including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook and LinkedIn videos.
• Use of AI-powered video editing tools.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Basic understanding of camera operations, composition, and lighting techniques.
• Awareness of cinematic editing styles.
• Understanding digital marketing creatives and performance advertising videos.
• Knowledge of current social media content strategies and trends.

Qualifications

• Any Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Multimedia, Film Editing, Visual Communication, Animation, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in video editing, motion graphics, or multimedia are advantageous.

Experience

• At least one year of professional video editing experience.
• Previous work experience in digital marketing agencies, advertising firms, media houses or creative studios is preferred.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating prior video editing projects is required.
