Role Overview

As Clutch expands rapidly, the Vehicle Detailer role has been introduced to uphold the company's stringent vehicle appearance standards prior to delivery. This position involves preparing and cleaning cars in the reconditioning facility to ensure they reach customers in top condition. Collaboration with production teams to meet quality and delivery benchmarks is a key component.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute thorough cleaning of vehicle interiors and exteriors, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and sanitizing, measured through cleanliness metrics and production targets.
  • Apply standardized detailing procedures to achieve both quality and timely completion.
  • Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and detect defects or areas needing rework.
  • Utilize the correct tools, cleaning solutions, and techniques adhering to company standards.
  • Complete all detailing steps before moving vehicles to subsequent production phases or for delivery.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and coordinate restocking as necessary.
  • Safely operate and maintain detailing machinery.
  • Follow workplace safety protocols, especially in handling chemicals.
  • Maintain organized, clean, and hazard-free detailing workstations.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to support operational targets.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license recognized in Nova Scotia.
  • Have a clean driving record devoid of major violations.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining consistent quality.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing repetitive motions including bending and standing.
  • Willingness to uphold a full-time work schedule of 40 hours per week, with possible overtime as business demands.

  • Ability to function effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced reconditioning setting.

  • Background in automotive detailing or production work is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of facility equipment and inventory control procedures is a plus.

Employment Details

  • Permanent, full-time position based on-site in Enfield, Nova Scotia.
