Remuneration and Benefits
- Competitive annual salary of $387,140 pro rata, equating to $14,890 per fortnight or approximately $1,489 per 8-hour shift.
- Opportunity to maximize earnings by specializing in afternoon and weekend coverage.
- Available on both part-time and full-time bases, providing financial security with salaried benefits.
- Generous paid leave entitlements including 4 weeks annual leave and 10 days personal leave annually (pro rata for part-time).
- Fully funded Advanced Life Support Level 2 (ALS2) training and certification, including paid time off for training.
- Focus on acute care with exposure to a variety of cases, minor trauma management, and acute medicine without any overnight on-call duties.
- Work with experienced acute-care nurses and immediate access to co-located diagnostic resources.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Fellowship with FRACGP or FACRRM is mandatory.
- Current, unrestricted Specialist Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Possession of current ALS2 certification or willingness to complete paid training.
- Confidence in managing emergency presentations and performing minor procedures such as suturing.
