BASF Services Europe GmbH acts as an international service hub delivering diverse services across Europe for the BASF Group. Located in Berlin, this hub encompasses expertise in finance, human resources, supply chain, procurement, product safety, and IT, all directed towards digital and customer-oriented solutions.

Commencing October 2026, the START IN trainee program invites Bachelor's or Master's graduates passionate about business and digital transformation to join the Berlin-based Service Hub team. The 12-month rotational program aligns with your individual skills and interests to prepare you comprehensively for future roles within BASF.

Program Structure and Responsibilities

• Work alongside a mentor to create a personalized development plan tailored to your strengths and career goals.
• Engage with multiple departments in the international competence and service hub to gain broad insights into specialized and cross-functional tasks.
• Lead and contribute to exciting sub-projects aiming to enhance service delivery and unit performance.
• Expand your professional network and enhance intercultural skills through a placement opportunity at another BASF Group company.

Candidate Profile

• Strong academic background with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in economics, social sciences, humanities, technology, or information sciences.
• Initial practical experience via internships or working student roles; up to 12 months of professional experience allowed; international exposure is considered an advantage.
• Customer-oriented mindset with motivation to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams.
• Excellent teamwork and communication capabilities in both English and German; additional language skills are a plus.
• Proficient in standard MS Office applications.

Compensation and Benefits

• Gross annual remuneration of approximately €44,000.
• Individualized support including optional assignment at another BASF location within Germany.
