Company Overview
TEPCO KSA specializes in manufacturing low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) switchgear under a Schneider Electric license at the MODON Madinah facility. The company is expanding its after-sales service division and developing a specialized field testing team to support this growth.
Role Overview
This position is based in Madinah and requires frequent travel across Saudi Arabia. The role involves performing factory routine testing and site commissioning on LV and MV switchgear from multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and verification tests compliant with IEC 61439 and IEC 62271 standards.
- Perform primary and secondary injection tests, along with protection relay testing and configuration.
- Test current transformers (CT) and voltage transformers (VT).
- Measure contact resistance and insulation resistance.
- Conduct circuit breaker timing analysis.
- Perform thermography inspections and partial discharge measurements.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdown situations.
- Prepare comprehensive test reports and certifications.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in testing and commissioning LV and MV switchgear, directly performing tests rather than supervising.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Power Technology.
- Proficiency using insulation testers, high voltage (HV) test sets, injection test sets, micro-ohmmeters, timing analyzers, and thermal imaging cameras.
- Ability to interpret and work independently from single line diagrams, schematics, and protection schemes.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Saudi Arabia, including working during shutdown periods, nights, and weekends.
- Possession of a valid Saudi driving license.
- Transferable Iqama if non-Saudi applicant.
- Competence in English for work purposes; Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
