Role Overview
We seek an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and advance our comprehensive recruitment efforts within Saudi Arabia. This senior-level position requires a strategic thinker with commercial acumen and expertise in technology and AI hiring. The candidate will be responsible not only for filling roles but also for designing and evolving the entire talent acquisition function, including agency collaboration, talent pipelines, KPI frameworks, and onboarding processes, ensuring the attraction and retention of top-tier talent in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for technology, product, data, AI, and corporate roles.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to clarify role requirements, competency needs, and candidate selection criteria.
- Develop and sustain active talent pipelines across technology and AI sectors both regionally and globally.
- Coordinate large-scale contract hiring aligned with government projects and client needs.
- Lead agency and vendor relationships, including negotiations, performance management, and maintaining a preferred supplier list adhering to SLAs and quality standards.
- Design and implement KPIs for talent acquisition such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, offer acceptance rates, and effectiveness of sourcing channels.
- Regularly provide reports and insights to HR leadership and stakeholders to identify hiring trends and capability gaps.
- Oversee onboarding programs from offer acceptance to 90-day integration to guarantee a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Represent the company at industry events, tech communities, and AI forums to enhance employer branding.
- Maintain awareness of advances in AI, machine learning, and enterprise technology markets to assess candidate suitability accurately and advise leadership on talent market dynamics.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience in talent acquisition with a strong focus on technology hiring.
- Proven success recruiting software engineers, data scientists, AI/ML professionals, product managers, and cloud specialists.
- Experience with or within technology firms; agency experience serving tech clients is also valued.
- Skilled in agency/vendor relationship management and vendor performance oversight.
- Familiarity with developing and applying TA KPI frameworks and reporting tools.
- Experience in designing onboarding processes and optimizing candidate journey.
- Prior experience recruiting in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of technology and AI language and concepts, capable of engaging with technical professionals.
- Knowledgeable about contemporary AI fields such as generative AI, large language models, and AI infrastructure.
- Commercially savvy and data-driven, with the ability to create dashboards and interpret metrics to draw actionable insights.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder management and influencing senior-level decision-makers.
- Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are an asset.
Highly Advantageous Experience
- Background in hiring AI/ML engineers, data scientists, or AI product managers.
- Work history within global technology firms operating in the GCC.
- Familiarity with Saudi Vision 2030 talent mandates, Saudisation, and HRSD guidelines.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
