Surveyor

Position Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Surveyor to join our team in Dubai. This role concentrates on cost management, contract administration, project valuations, and commercial oversight to ensure construction projects adhere to budget and contractual standards.

Primary Duties

• Prepare detailed project cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities (BOQs), and valuations.
• Oversee project expenses, cash flow monitoring, and financial performance tracking.
• Handle variations, change orders, and contractual claims efficiently.
• Examine contracts, architectural drawings, and specifications to identify commercial impacts.
• Draft interim payment requests and compile final account statements.
• Manage the valuation and payment processing for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain thorough cost documentation and produce frequent commercial reports.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors on commercial issues.
• Assist in project close-outs, including cost reconciliation and settling final accounts.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Surveyor within construction project environments.
• In-depth understanding of quantity surveying practices, cost control measures, contract management, and construction techniques.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant quantity surveying software.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contract standards and UAE construction regulations is preferred.
• Excellent analytical thinking, negotiation capabilities, and communication skills.
• Possession of a valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Experience working on high-rise building projects will be considered a plus.
