About the Role
Morgan McKinley is collaborating with a prominent pharmaceutical company to hire a Supply Chain Specialist for its expanding Global Operations team based in Dublin. This role offers a compelling chance for a seasoned supply chain expert to manage comprehensive supply chain functions globally, ensuring excellent customer service while handling vital supplier and manufacturing partnerships across several markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee comprehensive supply chain operations to guarantee consistent product availability and outstanding customer experience.
- Generate and administer purchase orders aligned with customer demands and operational needs.
- Prepare and update rolling forecasts, effectively communicating demand patterns and forecast modifications to manufacturing collaborators.
- Arrange production schedules and priorities in coordination with contract manufacturers to satisfy customer expectations.
- Follow up on order progression, delivery schedules, and stock levels, proactively addressing any arising challenges.
- Contribute to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) efforts to synchronize demand, supply, and production strategies.
- Keep ERP data and related supply chain documentation precise and current.
- Offer prompt updates on order status, manufacturing timelines, and delivery schedules.
- Manage product shipments and assist logistics activities spanning international markets.
- Pinpoint potential supply chain risks and devise proactive mitigation strategies to lessen operational impact.
- Assist in strategic projects and operational programs within the broader organization.
Essential Qualifications
- Prior work experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences industries is mandatory.
- Familiarity with import/export procedures and logistics management is a bonus.
- Proficiency with ERP software, preferably SAP, is required.
