The Strategy and Transactions team supports clients in sharpening strategy, improving value, and managing risk when they acquire or sell businesses, fund strategic initiatives, or raise capital. The work spans strategic advice, decision support, business planning, analytical modelling, financial due diligence, and transaction support. This opening is for experienced professionals to join the Strategy and Transactions function, which covers transaction support, corporate finance, feasibility studies, and financial advisory work.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a range of Strategy and Transactions assignments, including valuation work, financial modelling, due diligence, feasibility analysis, business planning, market research, and corporate finance advisory.
• Perform valuation and financial analysis for mergers and acquisitions, investment decisions, financial reporting, tax matters, strategic planning, and project finance.
• Support diligence reviews by examining financial data, spotting key trends, identifying risks and value drivers, and helping prepare findings.
• Carry out research on companies, industries, markets, and economic conditions to inform transaction advice, business plans, feasibility studies, and client presentations.
• Build, review, and refresh financial models such as forecasts, scenario analyses, valuation models, and transaction-focused analyses.
• Draft professional client outputs including reports, proposals, presentations, financial models, teasers, and information memoranda.
• Coordinate with managers and senior colleagues to complete assigned work on time and with strong quality control.
• Work closely with teammates, clients, and external advisers while upholding confidentiality, professionalism, and high service standards.
• Assist with business development activities such as proposal creation, market scanning, client research, and internal capability materials.
• Use modern tools and technology to improve the speed, quality, and usefulness of deliverables.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and careful attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, business analysis, valuation concepts, and corporate transactions.
• Ability to switch between different types of Strategy and Transactions work and adapt quickly to new sectors, clients, and tasks.
• Good research ability, plus strong Excel, report-writing, and presentation skills.
• Comfort working with data, financial information, and commercial insights to solve problems.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain findings in a professional manner.
• Self-starter mindset with curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented approach suited to a diverse, fast-paced, and high-performance environment.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Actuarial Studies, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or a similar discipline.
• CA(Z), CFA, or progress toward a relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Exposure to valuations, due diligence, deal support, feasibility studies, business planning, or financial analysis would be beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
